Product description

The Chiaroscura LED Floor Lamp has been created by Alberto and Francesco Meda for the brand Foscarini. When creating this lamp the designers challenged themselves to enhance the function of a classic lamp. Where lamps usually only cast indirect light upwards the design duo conceptualised this intriguing lamp that casts both direct and indirect light.

The Chiaroscura LED Floor Lamp casts direct light from LED sources at the top and indirect light from the wall via an LED strip inside the height of two rods that make up its body. They are anchored by a disc-shaped base. They are made of extruded, varnished aluminium and PMMA. The rods alternate matte and luminous finishes which add another aesthetic detail. Despite all the technology it packs, this one-of-a-kind lamp is slim and light in looks and versatile when it comes to where it can be used.

The Chiaroscura LED Floor Lamp has a height of 183cm and a diameter of 25cm. Its cable is 250cm long. It can be dimmed via a pedal switch that also serves as an on/off switch. It is available in neutral as well as bright, metallic finishes.
