The Almendra S3 Y LED Suspension Lamp Short has been created by Patricia Urquiola for the brand Flos. This modular suspension lamp defies all conventions with its shape and function. It is also an eco-friendly lamp that satisfies all the requirements of the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification 'ISCC'.

The Almendra S3 Y LED Suspension Lamp Short has two diffusers on the end of an aluminium bar. They have the shape of an open almond shell which is what gives the lamp its name Almendra. This is Spanish for 'almond'. The nut-shaped diffuser is made of polycarbonate. It conceals a dimmable light source that has built-in edge lighting technology. It enables you to adjust the direction of the light cast by 60º at a time. Another function that technology enables is the use of multiple dimming systems. The lamp can be used using a potentiometer, 1-10V, push-dim or DALI dimmer.

The Almendra S3 Y LED Suspension Lamp Short has a length of 161.2cm and its canopy has a diameter of 76cm. It is available in neutral and pastel colours with a metallic finish. At the end of its life, the parts of this lamp that have no glue can be separated for recycling.
