The Studio Armrest has been created by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for the brand Norr 11. It is one of the modules designed to work with other modules to assemble the Studio Sofa. It has a design inspired by the style in the 1970s. It gives a nod to this period with a timeless design.
The Studio Armrest and other modules for the Studio sofa are joined using a Click-Link system. The sofa is the designers' reimagination of the classic modular sofa. It stands out with the fluted design that gives it a distinctive look that is all its own. The effect is created with top stitching over the upholstery. The armrest module is made with the same materials as the other modules. It has an inner shell made of plywood that has a layer of cold-cure foam. Over this is upholstery done with Barnum fabric that matches the other modules. It is a textured, loopy one that works with the sofa's 1970s aesthetic. It is a soft type of bouclé that is a blend of cotton, nylon, wool, viscose and acrylic.
The Studio Armrest has a width of 50cm, a height of 16cm and a depth of 20cm. It can go on the left or right side of the Studio sofa.
